LOCATION: The Nile Bar and Grill 1721 19th Street Bakersfield CA 93301.
99 Fwy, Exit Rosedale Hwy East 178 Fwy: turns into 23rd St. Right(south) on F. St, 4 blocks south Left onto 19th St.)
CHECK IN: Dancers and Musicians must check in at the Performer’s Table at least one hour before your scheduled performance time. Please give your Troupe/Performer name and your name to the volunteer who will locate our copy of your contract and sign you in. All vendors, performers and audience members must show ID upon entrance to Nile facility to receive wristband.
* Please be aware that alcohol will be served, minors under 21 are to stay in the observation deck*
** EXCEPTION: Dancers/Performers are permitted to be under 21 and to stay within the main performance area with the appropriate wrist band visable at all times.**
Admission is free to all performers that are contracted to perform. Additional guests and audience members are $10.00
DRESSING ROOM: . Two restrooms are located on the main floor for public and dancer use. There will be a separate secluded dressing room with observation deck provided for performers upstairs along with a third restroom.
STAGE DETAILS: Stage area is appx 35’ wide ( at widest section ) and 15’ deep Stage has an appx 3 feet front step off.Stage is arch shaped.
Dancers may use stage and area directly in front of stage to perform and interact with guests. Stage is accessible from both sides. Be aware that the stage surface is a bit slippery, so be prepared. Staging area for dancers will be to the Stage Right, behind main curtain.
PERFORMANCE ALLOCATIONS: Please indicate desired length of performance on contract. Fire is not permitted during performances. All other props are allowed. Please verify with stage manager if you have any questions regarding acceptance of props or inappropriate costuming. **

releases and program no later than March 11th 2012
LIGHTING: Standard overhead stage lighting. No filters or spot lights.
SOUND: If you are using recorded music, please have your entire set on one (1) CD or on IPOD and bring a back up on CD form. Label your music and give it to volunteer when you check in at the Performer’s Table no later than 1 hour before your performance time. Make sure to have your back up available. Please make sure to pick up your music after you perform.
